It is known that Malaysian Indian Association of event (MIAE) was formed last year to embark on quality of services and collaborate to bridge Malaysian Indian event specialists in our country. In conjunction with that, a special award ceremony has been organized to encourage and honour the event specialists who are successfully achieving in this field.
This grand award ceremony which will be held for the first time by the association will take place at Four Point by Sheraton, Puchong on coming 25th April at 6 in the evening. It was informed that there are almost 200 event specialists have joined in this association as members. All the members of this association are known as coordinators and event specialist who have registered their business and holds legal documents. Those who have proper documents of their business and yet to register their business under this association are encouraged to do so in order to become betterment and success in their industry. The members of this association are being given business opportunity and great platform to run their business accordingly.
Besides, this MIAE award ceremony which is being organized for the first time is believed to be a platform for the event specialists to enhance their skill and shine in this field. Among the categories which will be be awarded are Best Bridal, Best Decoration, Best Catering , Best Photography , Best DJ system, Best Videography, Best Entertaining, Best canopy, and Best Full Event Management awards are awaiting to be presented to the winners.
Not only that, this association also have planned plenty of events and opportunities to be grabbed by the members which can be a stepping stone to excel in this field. Among some of the events that have been planned to be conducted throughout this year are Business Exhibition, Business meeting with Delhi and India, Shopping Expo, career opportunities for youths, skill training for youths and career opportunities for the students enroll in skill training programmes.
According to the association, there was a business meeting held with China last year in accordance with Business Exhibition. The association committee members also shared their disappointment that lack of career opportunities lead the students who completed skill training programmes to end up by starting their own businesses without proper guidance, knowledge and experience. Besides identifying those students without proper assistance , this association is playing a major role by giving them opportunity to earn proper knowledge and guidance needed before kick starting their own business .
With the strategies provided, the association strongly believes that wonderful platform will be created for the members of this association to co-create, connect and collaborate for the betterment.
