As
announced by Prime Minister Dato Sri Najib Tun Razak, construction agreement of
Heawood Estate tamil school has been officially delivered.
While
there were only 523 tamil schools nationwide, M.I.C requested for more schools to be built.
Accepting the request, prime minister announced that additional seven tamil
schools will be constructed.
Sungai
Petani Taman Keladi, Sungai Siput Heawood, Klang Taman Sentosa, Petaling Jaya
Selatan (PJS) , Ulu Langat Bandar Mahkota,Cheras, Johor Bandar Masai Bandar Sri
Alam are the tamil schools which will be constructed.

Ko. Sarangapani Tamil school has started its operation in Kedah. As such,
Heawood Tamil school will now be constructed as 525th Tamil school.
Yesterday,
M.I.C chief Dato Sri Dr. S. Subramaniam surrendered the school construction
contract to the nominated contractor.
These
building will be constructed at a cost of 12.4 million ringgit. It would be the
second largest tamil school built in this town which has been a dream of the Sungai
Siput people said Tamil school action team president S.Thiyagarajan.
Also
present in this event were Sedic C.E.O. Professor Dato Dr. N.S.Rajendran,
Deputy education minister Dato P. Kamalanathan, Minister in the Prime Minsiter
Department Dato Sri S.K. Devamani, Dato V.Elango, advisor to Perak menteri
besar, Sungai Siput M.I.C. chairman M.Elangovan.
